Sidelights: Despite having a mixed bag at the start of the season, KKR has played brilliantly since then. They did not make hue and cry about their improving performance, match by match and kept on working on their game. The six wins in a row have made it possible for them to play the Playoffs for this season and not only that, they have good chance to even push for a second place in the points table, thanks to Robin Uthappa. On the other hand the RCB had a fantastic start to the competition have messed up big time. Their superstar batting line up just couldn’t fire during the middle and later stages of the tournament and now they are out of the competition. Plenty to think about for Kohli and Vettori.
