The famous paragliding sites in India are Billing, Kullu, Solang, Lahaul & Spiti (all in Himachal), Naukutchiyatal, Dayara Bugyal, Dhanolti Ridge, Bedni Bugyal (all in Uttarakhand), Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner (all in Rajasthan), Matheran, Deolali, Mahabaleshwar (all in Maharashtra). The flying season lasts from September to December and then March to June.
