Sidelights:
It doesn’t matter whether you have Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and AB de Villiers in a single XI because if you bat poorly, like the RCB did in this match you are bound to lose the game easily. Those millionaire shots, especially played by Gayle and Yuvraj were unnecessary and perhaps became the reason for RCB’s fate in this game. Gayle is we all know plays like that, but Yuvraj, after being settled and watching the game as his team was struggling still played a loose shot and got caught in the deep when there are few overs were still left. Only poor batting has to be blamed for the RCB’s flop show last night as their bowlers did put KXIP in a bit of trouble, but then Rishi Dhawan and George Bailey see them home in a manner which few of the RCB batsmen should have learned from.
