Israel Folau is a Tongan origin player who plays for the Australian Rugby Union in international rugby and for the New South Wales Waratahs in the Super League. Before playing with the Waratahs, Israel Folau was playing for the Melbourne Storm team in the National Rugby League (NRL) and he made the record of most tries in a debut year of his own. Israel Folau likes to play as winger or centre in both the Australian National Rugby Union team and also for the state team Queensland.

In 2011 Israel Folau made a switch to the Australian Rule Football and joined the Greater Western Sydney Football Club in the Australian Football League or AFL. But in December 2012 Israel Folau once again decided to come back to the Rugby Union and signed a one year contract with the New South Wales Waratahs.

Israel Folau took is education from the Lurnea Public School and the Westfield Sports High School and then his family moved to Brisbane in 2004. In Brisbane Israel Folau attended the Marsden State High School and from there he was selected for the Queensland School Boys Squad in the Australian Under 15 Championships and represented the Australian School Boys team in the year 2006. His first season as a junior player was with the Goodna Eagles in Goodna.

At the age of 17 Israel Folau was spotted by the Melbourne Storm management and he made his debut in the year of 2007 in NRL season. Two years later Israel Folau became the biggest signing for the Brisbane Broncos. At the end of his contract in 2010, Israel Folau decided to switch to Australian Rule Football and joined Melbourne Rebels. Later he decided to rejoin the Rugby Union and played for the New South Wales Waratahs.
