Sidelights:
There is a famous proverb which says that, “when going gets tough, the tough gets going” and the Delhi Daredevils are exactly facing the tough right now. You can’t put DD as a clear winner or giving them a remotest chance of winning the game after they posted 143 on the board which is just above a par score in any T20 game, but they were certainly not out of it. But then suddenly rain came down and started to shorten the game by every minute and finally after two to three breaks Sun Risers Hyderabad given a very moderate target to achieve in 5 overs. Moderate in the sense the wickets in hand. So one must feel that DD was not given a level playing field but that is what it is all about. DD are now on the bottom of the table below MI whose NRR is better than of DD despite on the same points. This shows DD has to blame itself for being in such position and not the rains.
