Sidelights:
After losing the first game quite convincingly against RCB there must be a feeling that DD has done nothing right to ensure that their fortune gets a turn around, but then it had to turn around in style as they managed to chase down a good total of 166 set by KKR. DD tasted the sweet taste of victory after 7 matches. Thanks to their ‘acting’ captain Dinesh Karthik who was on the course right from the first ball and the new entrant JP Duminy. KKR on the other hand would feel that they have hardly done anything wrong, but yet they lost the game. Perhaps the only wrong thing they did was to score 10 runs less which might have tilted the result on their side.
